construction Optic Mounting Procedure

1. Remove Optic Plate
Remove the optic plate from the slide via the set screw under the firing pin stop (see page 7 in the manual)

2. Choose Correct Screws
We recommend using the screws supplied with the optic unless you have our RMR/SRO footprint or HSK footprint. See fastener information below for choosing the correct screw.

3. Clean & Degrease Threads
- Use acetone or isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and a cotton swab
- Oil and debris can negatively affect the thread locker
- Let acetone dry completely before continuing

4. Apply Threadlocker
- Most screws supplied with the optic already have threadlocker applied
- Use blue or purple threadlocker
- Make sure threads have been degreased
- Allow time for thread locker to fully dry (about 24 hours)

5. Install Optic
Place optic on slide cutout, install screws and snug them down

6. Torque to Spec
Use a torque screwdriver to finish tightening the screws to the suggested torque spec

7. Cure Threadlocker
Allow 24 hours for a full cure of the threadlocker before use

info RMR/SRO Footprint Notes
We mount the RMR/SRO low on the gun for a lower profile, which requires custom screws for this footprint. We include two screw lengths with the gun but have not tested them with all optics that fit the RMR footprint.
For optics not listed above: Measure how the two screws fit your optic. The max the screw can protrude from the bottom of the optic is .115". This should be measured with calipers or a machinist scale (ruler). If neither of the supplied screw lengths work, you may have to file down the screw length to fit.
